Prompt #2
I shared with you last time about a wonderful lady I met in a coffee shop and how she purchased my book, more so the opportunity we had to talk life together.
I found myself back in the same place a few days ago and went to sit at my usual table in a nice quiet corner… And who was already sat on the table next to the one I had my eye on?
The same wonderful lady!
I walked over and she beamed; the warmest smile spread across her face as she exclaimed how happy she was to see me. She’d purposefully stayed later than she needed in hopes of seeing me.
She thanked me for the package I had sent her with all the extra bits in and then asked if she could purchase another lot. This one for her friend who lives in America.
We got to talking about what we had been doing over the previous week and the majority was very mundane, food shopping and school runs. Towards the end of the conversation, after saying how much the words penned in my book had impacted her about hope and faith in hard time, she said she had gone back to church!
I wanted to cry but instead I thanked her for sharing her story with me.
A story of finding her way back to a living relationship with Jesus.
This package is now heading to America via my friend at the coffee shop.
A signed book, a bookmark, a clay decoration and a Christmas card for this wonderful lady to write for her friend.
This time I remembered to add my address, as requested; I think this wonderful lady and I may become pen pals 😉
How amazing would that be!
God really does work in beautifully wondrous and mysterious ways.
Have you shared your story with anyone recently?
Remember I am Penned in Love and so are you!
